World War I 80th Division Personnel Cards

This collection contains digitized personnel records from the 80th Division during World War I. The personnel cards contain information on individual soldiers in the division to include information on: insurance allotment, assignments, transfers, rank, corps, wounded in action status, discharge, and desertion. Also contains the names of those missing in action and killed in action from the division. Explanation of Naming System: The collection of personnel cards were contained in the original box they were kept in, possibly taken from a field desk. The cards were organized into categories and those original labels are reflected in the naming of each file such as _Collection Name_Category_First Initial Last Name of Soldier. For example: _80thDIV1742_discharged_ABaltzly means that the Alexander Baltzly card belongs with the 80th Division Personnel Cards Collection and is located under the "Discharge" category.
