A good day. Ben hauled
wood all day. Jim fired
tobacco
. Josie and I went
to pick peas this morning.
Mabel was not satisfied
so Josie had to quit and
bring Mabel home.

I staid until dinner and
picked what I could. Josie
picked some this evening.
I went to George Blairs.
Nettie Hendrickes was
there. Miss Alice Hubbard
and Ada Hutcherson
come a while.

School at Renan commenced
to day. I do hope that we
can have a good school
this time. Ben has gone
possum hunting to night.
