A good day. The men folks
planted tobacco all day. I
drawed plants all the time
that I could. Mrs. Owen
drawed this evening.

Beatriss Owen went to Long
Island
to meet her cousin.
She did not come.

Josie got dinner and churned.
She picked straw berries for
dinner.

Two of Carries
children are sick. I am so
sorry. Hope they may be well
soon.

Paul Bennett commenced
to work at Marvins to day.
I do hope that they may
make a good crop.

Cordie & Nettie Blair come
here this evening. I did not
see them.
