A colde windy day.

Marvin killed his hogs. Ben
helped him. Mr Dews shucked
corn
. Owen helped him.

I went to Carries and staid
a while. Frances Callans
(col'd)
helped Carrie to day.
Josie staid at home with
Franklin. She sewed some.

Heard to day that Willie
Mayhew
went to Danville for
Steven Davis and they looked
for him home last night and
he had not come yet tonight.
I feel uneasy a bout him.
I do hope that nothing
serious has happened to him.
He is one of our best neighbors.
