A good day. Ben went to
the Island to Pat Woodings
for two pigs for Kate Harvey.
He come home by eleven
oclock. Jim & Henry
shucked corn. They finished
shucking & hauled it to the
corn house. It was dark
when they come with the
last of it. Ben has gone to
Strait Stone tonight.
Josie and I got dinner.
We had fresh fish for
breakfast & dinner. Josie
baked pies for dinner
tomorrow. I killed a hen.
We hope that Marvin's
folks will come. I am a
fraid it will be raining.
