Monday, November 17, 1919

A good day. Jim & Ben
killed a beef this morning
and stripped tobacco this evening
and to night.

Josie got dinner.

This evening I went to
George Blairs. They were all
busy. Nettie was fixin a
box to take to the school
house
. Some of them were
strippin tobacco. Mollie
Reynolds come while I was
gone. I was so sorry that
I was not at home.

Hugh Brumfield & Rees Smith
are here tonight. They are all
playing Carom [?]

I carried my pen & ink
to the dineing room this morning
and was two lazy to go after
them to night.
