I hope you have got 'D[urie]'. Some slips & misprints in Vol. II have greatly distressed me. The Commentary was put into shape under great pres-ure this last year & was added to his proof till the last. Most of them will be obvious, as D[urie]

says, to 'the Eye of any deliberate Reader'.

am very sorry you have not been able to find a copy of the poems. One or two of yours I know from an old anthology. I shall keep an outlook for them at sales. But Mrs Dowden's were not, I think, published in her name.
