Dear Mrs. Sewall;
Over three weeks ago I wired Mr. Howland urging a decision about your ms. I haven't heard from him. I suggest that you write him a note (Mr. H. H. Howland. Bobbs Merrill Co. Indianapolis) and hint that you can wait no longer.

a talk with the Appleton literary adviser about your ms - he was much interested, and if the result of pressure on the B - M people is a negative decision, I suggest Appleton as a next reader.
I hope your improve ment continues & will proceed at a continuously accelerating pace.
With all good wishes,
Faithfully yours,
