Monday March 21, 1921

A good day and very warm for March. Ben plowed all day. Jim worked in the garden. Mr Willie Allen and Mr Owen shucked corn today. Henry and Edna & Franklin went to school.

I have bin busy nearly all day.

Josie is at Mr Hubbards. I miss her and the baby so much. I went to Carries a few minutes this evening. She had bin sweeping. Harold Mayhew is at Marvins tonight.

Tuesday March 22, 1921

A rainy day. Not so but what any one could work until late. Ben plowed this morning. Jim cleaned up the land some. Mr Owen finished shucking his corn and put it in the corn house. What belonged to us.

The children went to school.

I washed some and got a snack to eat.

Paul Smith come and got a setting of eggs this evening.

I get so lonesome when the most of the folks is gone that I dont know what to. Hope Josie can com home to morrow.

Wednesday March 23, 1921

A cloudy day. Ben harrowed all the morning. This evening he went to Rob Hubbards for Josie & the baby. Franklin went with him. They got home a bout night. Jim cut on the ditch ba[?] getting wood for winter.

I went to Carries a few minutes.

Henry & Edna went to school. It is cool tonight. Hope it wont frost.

Henry has my paper.

Thursday March 24, 1921

A rainy day most of the day. Mrs Reynols was buried this evening. Ben went to the burial with Marvin. Jim staid at home all day. Josie got dinner. She baked a molasses pudding. It was fine.

I went to Georg Blairs. Lottie Craddock and her children was there. Isla was sewing. Denia & Cordie was makeing Edieth a doll. Denia was bakeing light rolls.

Willie Hutcherson and his mother went to Mrs. Reynols burial.

Friday March 25, 1921

A good day. Ben & Jim went to Chatham. Jim stayed. Ben got home a while before night. Made the trip ok. Josie and I and Franklin & Mabel, Carrie and Hazel and Eva all went to Johnson Reynols. We had a pleasant evening. Reese come after us with the car.

I went with Franklin fishing in the branch. Caught five minowes. Josie got dinner & washed the dishes. Nettie sent Ednas dresses home to day. They are very nice. Jims turkey layed to day for the first time.
