A clear day. Snow on the ground yet. We all was here at dinner. Jim went to Marvins this morning. Ben went to Owens late this evening. Owens baby is sick. Josie and I got dinner. We did not get any supper. I think now I will be so glad when I can go a round and not be colde. Mabel has woke up. She is one of the worst babys that I have ever seen.
I promised Ben 50 cts to carry the calf from the stable to the shop.
A clear colde day. The children went to school.
Jim and Ben was at Gretna. They staid all night at Chatham with Jims family. Come to Gretna and got breakfast and solde their tobacco & come home. They got home a bout dark.
Solde reasonably well I think.
Josie & I cut rags some today. Josie went to Marvins a little while this evening. Mabel was good to day for her to be.
Heard today that Mrs Jack Kellie was buried Saturday. I guess she will be very much missed. I found Henrys knife and 5 cts in the shucks. I have not tolde him yet.
Ben gave me a pair of overshoes to night.

A very colde day. Partly cloudy. Jim & Ben hauled in some feed then stripped tobacco for Mr Owen. Tonight they went to Marvins to help tye tobacco. Josie ironed some this morning. We both had a hand in getting dinner. We cooked cabbage & beans and made a crum pudding. I have set by the fire all that I well could. The children went to school. Heard today that Dorothy Worsham has scarlet fever. Mrs Edmons is very sick. Her daughter Mrs Hutcherson went to stay with her. I hope they all will soon be well.
9 oclock
A beautiful day. Some warm. Jim and Ben helped Owen strip tobacco after shucking some corn and carrieing it to the corn house and feeding the cows. Marvin loaded his waggon and sent it on to Gretna.
The children went to school. Josie and I got dinner.
I have went to sleep and let my book fall twice. Dont know any thing worth writing so I will quit.
