A good day.

Ben & Franklin went to Rob Hubbards & spent the day.

Jim went to Lee's and eat dinner. Lee was not at home. I staid here all day. Marvin & Carrie come a few minutes. I was glad that they come.

I have not bin as well as usual to day. I have a cold 9 oclock

Monday, January 12, 1920

A nice day. The menfolks worked on plant beds. Josie done a big washing. I staid with Franklin and the baby and got a little dinner. This evening Cordie & Nettie Blair come. I was glad to see them.

Henry and Edna went to school. We heard to night that Tom Peak got his hand cut off this morning. I am so sorry for him & his family. The Owen baby is some better to night. Today is Henry Brumfield's birth day. He was born in the date 1833. 8 oclock

Tuesday, January 13, 1920

A good day. Jim & Ben cut wood. Josie got dinner to night. Ben & Josie & Mabel went to Ren Worsham's. I wish they were at home. The wind is blowin hard.

I went to Otho Blairs. Denia Blair & Kate Harvey was there. Sallie had a nice dinner. I think they are fixed up nicely. Denia and I come by Mr Allens. They are both feeble. She is in the bed and he can't get about hardly atal. George Blair Jr met us with the car & brough me home. I was glad but did not expect such good luck. 9 30 oclock

Wednesday, January 14, 1920

A clear windy day. Jim & Ben cut wood, Owen plowed. The children went to school. Josie ironed some and cut a dress out for her self.

I got dinner & churned.

Johnson Reynolds come by here, wanted to see the boys a bout selling guano.

I got a letter from Evylin Brumfield to day. 8 30 oclock

Thursday, January 15, 1920

A cloudy day. Jim & Ben worked on a plant bed. Jim mended Kate Harvey's shoes to night. Henry went to Charlie Hutcherson's to night. Carrie and the children was here a few minutes this evening. Josie got dinner. I kept the baby. Henry & Edna went to school. 9 oclock

Henry has got home. Carrie and Reese went with him to Mr. Hutchersons.
