Josie and I staid at home.
The children had a good time to day playing with the things they got this morning.
I got several presents was glad of them.
A good day. Ben & Jim went hunting. A lot of the grand children come to night and a few others. Kate and Irvin walked down here. The children played until midnight. They all said that they had a good time. I did not have anything to do with the askin them.
I am glad that the Xmas is gone. Every day is preshious but the excuse for doing nothing is gone.
We have had good wood and have had good fires for which I want to be thankful. I have not bin sick a day so that I could not go a bout. I feel sad to think of this being the last time that I will write in this book.
one oclock 1920
I have went to sleep and let my book fall twice. Dont know any thing worth writing so I will quit.
A rainy evening. Ben and Jim finished their plant bed today at twelve o'clock. There is sickness at most every home around here at this time. Nellie and I got dinner. Nellie washed dishes. Henry went to Renan for soda for the plant beds. Nellie made Evyline an apron to day. Letia Ward brought the clothes home this evening. I went to sleep and marked my book.
