A good day. Ben sawed some wood for Marvin. Broke his saw and could not finish.

Josie done a big washing. I got dinner. Mrs Carr heard to day that Max Carr is at Mr Powers to night and will leave tomorrow morning.

I went to Carries this evening. Janie Gravley is here tonight.

Heard that Effie Brumfield went from school sick today. Hope she may be well by tomorrow.

A good day. The men folks moved Owens tobacco out of the pit and put some of Bens in then commenced to build a hog pen. Josie & I got dinner. Nellie and Evylin Brumfield went to Blairs this morning. Come home by twelve, eat dinner, then Ben carried them to Johnson Reynolds, from there they went home.

Josie has not been well to day. I went to Marvins this evening.

Eva was sitting on the floor; the first time that I ever saw her on the floor. I finished a cap[?] that Josie commenced to night.

Every one is a bed but I so I will go soon.

A good day. The men chopped in the tobacco.

Josie got dinner and washed this evening.

I went to White Falls fishin. Grace Brumfield carried me from Renan & brought me that far back. I walked home. I saw five plows going in one field at Johnson Reynolds and mowing at the same time.

A good morning. We all staid at home. Nellie & Evylin come this morning. Mr Tup Walker brought them. Kate Harvey & Carrie Smith and the little children come a little while. Jim & Ben went to the creek. Had to hurry back on account of a cloud. We have had the hardest rain I most ever saw. The branch is as high as I ever saw it. Washed the fence a way below the spring. Oh I am so sorry a bout the high water.

Evylin is playing the piano.

A good day. Ben and family staid at home all day. Some of them was workin the tipewriter about all the time. I got dinner then went to Marvins. They were eating dinner. They had bin to preaching at Strait Stone. Carrie and I walked over to Mr Hutchersons.

Mr & Mrs Hutcherson was not at home. We saw Willie Hutcherson & Frank Blair. Went to the grave yard then come home.

We have looked for Jim Brumfield all the evening but he has not come yet.

Ben Josie and the children are at the dining room eating a snack.
