Had a shower to day. Need rain yet. Ben and Paul and Owen plowed tobacco this morning. This evening Ben helped Marvin fix in his pump. To night Ben has gone to Strait Stone to the lodge.

Tom Edmons came this evening to tell us good by.

He has got to go to camp Tuesday. I feel so sorry for him. Lizzie and Earl Bennett come to see us. Tonight Paul and Earl has gone to see some of the young folks.

Mr Mayhew gave an ice cream supper. We were invited did not go.

A good day.

Ben and Owen went to the mill did not get any grinding. Ben helped Marvin fix his pump a gain to day. Helped Owen fix his stove pipe. Miss Willie Wooding come a while this evening.

Josie made her a dress this evening. To night Ben and Paul and the children went to Renan bought shells. Paul killed two rabbits. Kate sent the calf home this morning.

I went to see Bens and Pauls crops this evening. It looks good now. We need rain.

Josie has sick head ache. I hope she will soon be well.

A good day. Some rain tonight. Ben helped Marvin fix his pump a gain this morning.

Paul has not come home yet. Mr Owen went to the mill this morning did not get his grinding. Josie got dinner.

Ben went to Cedar Forest and carried Henry and I with him. We did not catch any fish to speak of. He got his flue eyes for the new barn.

Josie and Edna and Franklin went to Marvins a while this evening.

A clear cool day. Ben helped to rais a barn for Mr Doss. He come home for dinner. Mr. Owen plowed this evening. Jim worked on one thing an other all day.

Josie and I staid at home all day. Bettie Davis washed here to day.

Henry and Edna went to school to day. Carrie and her three babies come down this evening. I was glad to see them. I am so sorry for Carrie. She worries so and does have so much to do she dont know what to do first.

Jim & Ben & Marvin worked on Marvins pump and got it to work this evening.

A cloudy day and some rain. Julia and the baby. Mrs Farmer and Mollie and I went to the citty park. It rained so that Julia & the baby staid under a shelter. The rest of us looked a round. There was a lot to look at. Fowls & flowers & animals. We got back to Howards and eat supper. John & Henry Brumfield come. Then we went to a picture show. While we were waiting for a car the fire bell rang. We went to see them throw water with their pump It is all a show for them that dont live in town. I certainly do wish that Ben & Josie & Carrie could be there and hear & see for a while. Julias baby cried a heap. I am a fraid it is not well.

This is wrote Thursday evening. I for got to write last night. Having such a big time.
