A good day. Ben and Owen plowed most of the day. Josie got dinner.
Isla come over here this morning. I went [with] her to see Ben. We come by the plant beds and got a few cabbage plants.
We had early supper and all went to the school house. The Gretna folks come down and gave a play for the benefit of the Red Cross. There was a big crowd there.
11 oclock
Had a good rain to day. Ben and Paul chinked the barn. Josie ironed and got dinner. We set by a fire this evening and mended some things that we had put off.
I have not seen any of Marvins people to day or heard from them.
Paul has gone to the school house to night to the rehersal of a play.
9 oclock
A good day. Ben worked on Tom Edmons's car most all day. Paul carried Denia Blair and I to Worshams pond. We come home for dinner. To night we went to the school house to see a play. Henry has bin sick all day.
