A warm clear day. A thunder cloud to night and a little rain. Ben and Chesley Edmons and Kate Harvey and I went to Chatham this evening. Irvin Craddock bought a cow here this morning. We passed them twice to day on their way home.

Josie staid at home today. She made her a dress.

We saw Jim and Evylin and Nellie Brumfield to day.

A good day. I was at Charles.

Jim and Nellie and a Mr Spruce come down here last night got here after dark. Josie fixed supper for them.

I was not at home. Jim and Ben come to see Charles this evening. I come with Ben home. He has gone to Mrs Carrs. Josie went with him left the children.

9 oclock

I set three hens this evening.

Charles Brumfield died this morning at half past seven oclock.

I come with Ben home from there. Jim and Nellie come here this evening.

Ben and Jim has gone over to Charles to night.

A good day. Ben and Josie went to Chatham in Marvins car. Marvin went as far as Gretna. Henry and Edna and I staid at home.

I killed a chicken this morning. Mollie Reynolds come a while this morning. Denia Blair and Lottie Craddock come this evening. Josie went to see Nellie Brumfield and eat dinner there.

A good day. The men folks filled a house with primings. Josie handed leaves nearly all day. I went this evening. Fanny helped this evening. Fanny went to Mr George Emersons this evening. Paul carried her on the buggy. Jim and Nellie and Evelyn come today. I am glad that they come.

I had a letter from Thelma to day saying that she will come to see us soon.
