A beautiful day.

Ben worked until noon then went to Mr Carrs burial. Josie and Franklin was down there. I got dinner then went with Ben to the burial. Henry went to school. Edna staid at Carries all day. We heard to day that Buck Farmer was buried to day. I set three hens this evening the first that I have set. Mr Owen plowed to day the first plowing that has bin done here this year. We had salet for dinner the first that we have had this year.

A good day. Ben worked on Charles corn house. Owen plowed. Josie washed. Denia Blair come a while this evening. I wrote to Irvin Craddock a bout the cow. Denia and I went to look at the hogs and cows then went to Marvins and looked at his cows and little calf. It is a beauty.

Marvin and Carrie went to Strait Stone this evening.

Heard to night that Mrs Oley Hubbard is dead. Died sudden.

A good day.

Ben and Owen hauled stalks this morning then Ben went to Charles and worked on his corn house until twelve. Come home for dinner.

This evening he plowed the colt in the garden then got the locus stump up that was in the yard.

Josie and I burnt some brush that was in the garden. Mrs Hubbard was buried this evening. None of us did not go to the burial.

A good day. Raining tonight.

Ben went and helped to cut Charles feed this evening. Owen plowed. I got out the beans that the Blair girls gathered last fall they are very nice.

Edna spent the evening at Aunt Carries. Henry went to school. Both the children have bad colds.

All gone to bed but me. I soon will be if nothing happens.

A cloudy windy day and rain tonight. Ben worked on his plant beds. Owen plowed until it rained.

Josie commenced washing but quit before she finished as the weather was so bad. I got dinner.

Josie commenced making bats for her quilt. To night I mended my gloves.

Franklin has a very bad colde.
