At this point I interpose a psychological chapter not for the purpose of introducing psychological matter into logic but for the purpose of making its arrelevancy quite clear.
All our thoughts are signs and I here consider how they are so and show that it is in their character as signs that logic as applicable to them.
Further logic is applicable to all signs whether they are directly mental or not.
