1846 June 13th. Rained all night Branch high
Two or Three times yesterday & last night spining,
sho[e]making & making basket - all in house
wind has been N. E. all this week - quite cool=

14th Rained again last night very hard &
We have done no work since last Monday
nearly a week - still cloudy wind N.E. yet

14 cloudy last Rained very hard, in the
evening of this day it cleared off

15th This morning cloudy & foggy &
We are about to commence plowing
laying by our corn thats drilled

16 Raining last night & again this
evening & stop us work I never
saw such a corn field in my life
& not much more than ½ done windy

17th Cutting mountain field wheat to day

18 Rained this evening Laying by corn
in evening & weeding —

19 Cutting wheat this morning in second
yrs ground — had 3 calves to this day
went Plowing & weeding corn finished Plowing
Big field this evening before it Rained

20th Rained last evening ground too wet
to Plow & we are doing but little —
at 12 Oclock laying by corn & finished
this evening weeding big field —

21st Fair day & cool. Meeting at S.S.

22nd Laying by & weeding this side branch
below cow pen Plowing cotton etc etc.
