A good day. Some clouds
a bout but no rain to stop work.
Ben and Paul and Owen cut two
barns of tobacco today.
The children and I and Mrs Owen
helped what we could.
Josie washed this morning
and ironed this evening.

I think Ben has gone to
make fires in the flues now.
Ben has a lot of nice
water mellons now.
