Monday 5 thank god for his
goodness to me the past year
I prayed this evening

Tuesday 6 this day one year I
was mustered in to service this
afternoon we moved our Hospital
further down street. a pleasant
place Bro Ambler prayed

Wensday 7 about 4 oclock this
morning the chaplains were called
and meet at the prison at 5 oclock
we left for the Cars and at 6
oclock we took cars for petersburgh
and arrived at 8 oclock at 11 we took
the cars for City Point 8 chaplains
in all the 9th being left sick in the
Hospital with light hearts
we hailed the boat when the Stars
and Stripes were seen at City point

Mogan(?) was with us with Joyfull
hearts we steped on the (__) boat
N York thank god we are under
the stars and stripes at 1 oclock we
took Diner Ham good coffee & bread
at 4 oclock Gen Merideth our com
arrived in the John Tucker
and he and Judy outa the Reb com
was together until (__) night
in the evening we had prayr
and signing
