February

Thursday 19th still raining
terible disagreable walking
in my room all day am
not very well or rather I
am unwell wrote to Berea
Carter was at Military school
to night in head quarters.

Friday 20th it is warm
but muddy (__) heavly on
the savage(?) mountains still
in my quarters to day and
saw a house burn on
Louden heights could
see throug the opera glass
one man in the house
preached to night in Co. G
quarters for Exodus 32 23
four at the alter and two
converted. had a good
time lord was with
us in much mercy may
the good work go on
until very many is changed
by grace am in good
health for which I feel
thankfull
