Wensday 19 Still warm and cloudy have done
but little today very
much a day
with pain in head and breast
Lieu Cornal Hom ex
Sheriff Reynolds of Cecil
and Lieu Grant took
dinner with me visited the
Hospital in the afternoon
called on Doc Nelson for
some medisen in my tent
all the evening thank god
for his goodness

Thursday 20 was in my tent
all day nearly. spent some
time in the Col headquarters
did not visit the Hospital
felt so unwell cold in
my head is a little better
the pain in my side still
remains but not so bad
received a letter from Bro
Hasson glad to here
from him last night the
reg called out of bed to march
to Hagerstown but orders was
revoked so all retired again
