Raining all day and
tonight [Nigerians] are making
a dreadful chos. They seem
to take advantage of the rain.
Still flooring.

On Job. B Section called
in to run baths. Went into
Estaines in evening. At
night guns all round us
though we haven't seen any
made a horific commotion
till after nidnight. A
bombardment something awful
three dropped near Estaines.
