A clear morning.
Rain this evening.
They men stripped
tobacco all day. The children
went to school. I was
sorry for them coming
home through the rain.
I have spent what
time I was not cooking
or washing dishes
mending the children's
clothes. Henry and I was
going on a trip to
see if we could find
some body that had
butter to sell. The
rain prevented.
Mabel has bin very
good today. Played
with her paper dolls.
She is a lot of trouble
to look after but a
sweet childe. I am glad
that she is here.
