A good day. Ben plowed
until twelve. Jim plowed
all day. Ben carried
Evylin to Gretna this
evening. I went with
them. I did not buy
much. Money is [true?]
scarce. I saw Carrie
and Mrs McLaut[ghl?]in and
several others that I
was glad to see.
Nellie has the care of
Evylins baby tonight.
Evylin will take the
train for Lynchburg in
the morning. She will
stay at Lenias tonight.
I washed a little
this morning. Washed the
schoolhouse curtains.
Edna brought them in
tonight. I brought two
pounds of cheese this
evening.
