A good day. Jim staid
at the barn all day and
kept up the fire.
Ben carried all the children
to Strait Stone to preaching.
Lawson and [Lora?] Emerson
come with them home.
They are nice children.
We are glad for them to
come here. Ben has bin
at worke on his tobacco
all the evening. He is
yellowing his tobacco.
Some thing killed a
chicken here last night.
We think it was a
possome. Hope some on
will soon catch it.
I went to Mr. Bookers
and gathered some snaps
and picked some peas.
Edna and Lora Emerson
went to the school
house this evening.
