When she came on shore she had her light
burning it being at a very early hour in the

any person on board - nor did any one appear
for about three days, when the master who
with the crew had landed at Grimsby accom-
-panied by one of the owners came to the place
But she has continued in my charge the
whole of the time.

I have almost daily communicated with
Lloyds agent respecting the vessel and Messrs Ellis,
Parker & Clarke of no 2 Cowpers Court, Cornhill
London EC, have called upon me for amount
of expenses incurred in getting her off the shore
also salvage claims, a copy of my reply is on
the other side. I am Sir J.S.
