I have received directions to proceed against the
six men referred to in your letter of 27' Ulto and
will thank you to furnish me with the Christian
name of Lindlow in order that I may take out a
summons for his appearance to answer the charge

On my return from leave I found this letter and
the enclosures contained therein _ which I have retained
I have taken preliminary steps for proceeding against
the parties directed _ and with reference to part 3 of the
5/8 Sect of the M.S. Act _ will thank you to inform
me whether in this case_ as in the case of Tallow
taken from the Coast in April 1858_ the proceedings are to
be conducted in the manner prescribed by the Act
11 & 12 Vict c 43. I am Sir, Your Obdt Sevt
