The Anchor was moved by Henry Colman
Richd Fenby and others
Their Horses were used to move the Anchor and when
they were doing this Act - Milne the Coast Guard Officer
in charge _ warned them of the consequences that
would arise out of the illegality of the Act they were
doing.
The Master and every one on board were drowned, -
but Mr Clarkson - Agent for the Wakefield Marine
Insurance Society _ in which the Vessel was insured
has taken charge of the Wreck for the benefit of all
parties interested - and to whom the materials &c
removed to Withernsea have been delivered up.
Some proceedings should be instituted in order to
maintain the authority of the Officers on the

Sir, 7 Novbr 1859.
Herewith I beg to foward the Bill of the Magistrates
Clerk in the above case amounting to £8 - 17 - 0 --
also the Officers Bill for serving summonses amounting
to 15s/_.
And with reference to my letter of the 3' Ulto craving
the expenses of Thos Steele - and Geo Spetch _ two men who
were summoned to attend the last hearing I regret
I craved a week short for each_ viz from the 9th
Sept only - whereas I should have craved expenses
for each from the 3rd inclusive - as per annexed sum-
-monses for Thos Steele_ They were first summoned
on the 3' Septbr to attend on the 9th when it was found
that Capt Harris could not be communicated
with in sufficient time to attend on that day
