Wreck of the Vessel "Brandford" at Patrington
Channel [Horse?] and take up such portion
of her Cargo of Iron Railway Bars Etc.
as you may be enabled to find you
are also place a Buoy on the Wreck
with the name of the Vessel painted
thereon and the Broad arrow [here is shown a drawn upward arrow] J.S.

I had a letter yesterday corresponding
with that you mention - I go to Town
to day by the 4/p m Train, when I return
I shall for my Wreck quarter accounts
require a Receipt from you for the
few unsold Anchors & that remain
in the Admiralty Yard. The account
prepared by your man Warden is
excellent and will be of use to me as a
check - when I get Mr Allisons account.
He must be your Successors Secretary
I am sure - were it in my power I
should be happy to serve him -
