on the subject of an anchor as marked
"[Queen"] - I cannot allow you to
hold possession thereof without
a written authority from the owner
This point has been decided by the
Bd. of Trade and similar claim made
by Messrs. Bramble - under rule 2
of the section you quote all goods must be delivered to the Receiver

to Capt. Metcalfe who has sent me
a declaration of George Williamson
the Salvor thereof who positively
affirms that it is not the one
that belonged to the Vessel "Jean & Jessie"
Under those circumstances until
I have better proof - I cannot
allow the same to be sold or
delivered to you J.S
