It appears that the section beginning "I now pass to the beta part" is the continuation from the end of MS 456, and the other pages between Peirce's page 15 and here constitute an alternative draft that was superseded by MS 456. The content between Peirce's 15 and 18 (including some unnumbered pages) is essentially the same as MS 456 but seems muddled by comparison.
