A rainy day. Ben and
Jim finished at Owens house then
stripped tobacco the rest of the
day. I helped strip until
twelve then I knit most of
the evening.

Josie got dinner. She had a
good dinner.

I had a card from Alma
Bennett
this evening.

Ben & Jim and Josie are
playing cards tonight. All of
the children are asleep
I think I will go to bed
soon. Today has bin warm
for the time of the year.
Now the wind has commenced
to blow I think it will get
colde by morning.
