A beautiful day, we
went [to marvius?] and eat dinner.
Ben had a time to crank
his car but finely did get
it to go. We had good
trip concidering the bad roads.
Carrie was not looking for
us but had a plenty
dinner. They had a lot of
company. John and his wife +
daughter Mr. and Mrs. Hodges Mrs.
love + children [Christinia?] +
Floyd Reynolds. We get home
in time todo our work. Mr Kent
come and [hindered] Ben he did
not milk one of the cows Mrs.
Kent is sick with flue.
Jim got home tonight I am
glad that he come tonight
