A beautiful day. Jim &
Ben shucked some corn this
morning and fed the cows
the stalks. Then they stripped
tobacco until dinner. Josie
and I persuaded Ben to go
to the mill. Josie shelled
some corn whle washed
the dishes. We went with
him. We fished some. We
caught 39 fish dressed
them and intend to cook them
for breakfast in the morning.
I was so glad to go fishing.
We come by the store and
bought a few things.
Jim and Ben tied some
tobacco to night.
The children went to school
except Mabel. She went
with us fishing. I have not
seen any of Marvins folks
today.
