A rainy day most of
the day. Ben plowed until
he got wet.
Hattie washed the clothes.
Are on the fence now
as wet as they can be.
Nellie worked some button
holes and got most of the
dinner. She got a letter
from Evylin saying she
was sick. Nel has been
about half crazie ever
since.
The children went to
school. Come home wet
to the skin in places.
Hattie Gilbert and John
got milk here today.
I am so anxious for
good weather so I can
get out where I
please and take the
baby with me.
