Julia Brumfield Diaries — 1919

A cloudy day most all day.
Mr Owen plowed most of the
Jim & Ben hauled straw and
[?] Jims potato patch
then worked on the tobacco land.
Jim and I planted some onions
this evening.

Josie got dinner--most of it.
Denia & Corrdie come this
evening. Josie and Cordie ordered
some flower seed & bulbs.
Carrie and the children come
this evening. Jim Emerson
passed going down the way.

Ben has a bad colde & is
very much complaining.
