A good day. Ben & Jim and
Owen worked on plant beds this
evening. Ben sawed wood for Mr Edmonds.
Josie washed. I got dinner - then
went after Franklin. He ran
a way and went to Carrie's.
He eat dinner up there.
We all sat in my room
tonight. The other fire place had
some brick out so they would
not make a fire in it.

Interesting that there were problems with the brick in the fireplaces as early as 1919.
