A good morning.
Rain this evening.

The menfolks planted tobacco
all day. Mr Dews helped them
this evening.

I went to Blairs this
morning and got potatoe slips.
Mrs Owen and I drawed
plants part of the day.

Josie ironed this morning and
churned and got dinner.

Kate Harvey solde her cow
to day we guess. She passed
here some one driving her.

Notes

It's uncertain whether Blairs here is a reference to Denia Blair's farm or to Blairs, VA. The distance between Blairs and Renan (around 20 miles, as I recall) makes me suspect the former.
