A good day. Ben and Jim went to Gretna on Mr. Bookers car. Jim went on to Chatham. Ben come home. Nellie got Dinner.
I went to George Blairs. I walked over there. George Jr.
brought me home. I was glad that he did. Mrs. Carr
has bin complaining all day. Mabel has a bad colde.
Heard today that Alice Thomson is very sick. I do hope
that she may get well. Dr. Owens childe is better so
we heard. There is more sickness in the country than can
be attended to. I do hope that there will soon be a
change for the better.
Co??? combed my hair today.
