A good day. Ben went to
the Island to Pat Woodings
for two figs for Kate Harvey.
he came home by eleven
o'clock. Jim & Henry
shucked corn. they finished
shucking & hauled it to the
corn house. It was dark
when they came with the
last of it. Ben has gone to
Strait Stone tonight.
Josie and I got Dinner.
We had fresh fish for
breakfast & Dinner. Josie
baked pies for Dinner
tomorrow. I killed a hen.
We hope that Marvin's
folks will come. I am a
fraid it will be raining.
