Saturday July 9, 1921

A good day. A little rain
tonight. It is needed so bad.
Jim & Ben & Henry worked
on the tobacco most of the day.
Ben went to the mill at
Cedar Forest. The water
was so low that they could
no grind. Franklin and I
went with him. I fished
a fished caught two fish.

Josie ironed some. Julia
got a dress by mail. I
am glad that she got it.

No one from here did not
go to the show to night.
It is raining now.
