A good day. Ben & Jim
stripped tobacco.

Josie baked a
cake for to be solde at the
school house. The cake brought
a good sum. The boxes all
solde well. There was a big
crowd at the school
house. I was the oldest person
there. Mr. Owen & Luke
went with Ben.

Miss Grace Wills got the
cake for being the prettyes girl.
Jim Brumfield stripped tobacco
while we went to the school
house.

11: oclock

Heard tonight that Lottie Kellie
has a new boy. Came this morning.
