A good day. The men folks worked
on tobacco. Ben went to Renan
and got some beef. He paid 25 cts
a pound for it.

Mrs Owen is sick.

The children went to school

Franklin staid all day at Marvins.

I think I am getting on well
with the work considering my age
but I am so tired of staying
here and being so confined
but I cant help my self.

To day is John Brumfields
birth day. I had a letter from
him yesterday.
